Black bike

This is why i built the black bike. I used a EVO because i got it cheap. It was weird to copie someone else bike but i told myself on day i will build this bike. I've had the poster since i was 9.

Thought i should pull of the cam cover and primary cover to check for hillbilly hop ups. Found the needle bearing for the pinion shaft layin in the bottom of the cam cover. My be a some what easy fix, but could call for a total tear down. Why are old iron heads fucked in some way?

Street tracker sucka, i get distracted easy.

Went to the shop today to get some keep the lights on work done and do a little to the Russian Pete build. Well 5 hours later no work got done and i have a new front end on my ironhead. It's a cool one i got it off my buddy Stefans bike. The funny thing is that i told him i was going to find a way to weasel it out of him. He's mocking up his hard tailed ironhead build at my shop so he had the front end on his swing arm bike. We went to put it on his pachco frame and the triple tree wasn't long enough. To make a long story short the front end on my ironhead was a later one so it fit. Anybody got an idea what it is. The brake is crazy small. and the front wheel is a spool with a small flange for the rotor. what about the oil cooler/filter anyone ?

Well i got some photos of the front end i got coming in the mail. I was looking at them then i noticed that their wasn't any lower rockers. Shit!!!!! it was spost to be complete. I called the guy i bought it from and put the screws on him ( in a nice way). He was claiming that every old dude in town (sacto) swears it a early prototype with little leaf spring in the triple trees. Ok panic time!!!!!!! Called the well of knowledge CHICO D. I send him the photos and he got to work. Called executive choppers and asked Bill about it. Sent him the photos and was 80% sure that it was one of the first prototype. John Harmans brother walked in at the same time Chico was talking to Bill and confirmed that it was one of the first ever build and the hardest to find. I went from 0 to hero in an hour. Photo shoot friday when i get it. Thanks Chico for doing the ground work buddy. Wait i'm Buddy and your guy. RUSSIAN PETE
