Gave the cases a little bath today. Followed up with a good angle grinding. I used scotch brit pads that are like a 4.5" grinding disc and clean up the casting on the cases. Looking good. Next step will be wet sanding then polishing. Can you say labor intensive. One of the cylinders had a little bit of the piston in it so i used acid to eat up the aluminum. I then took the old stone hone to them and they cleaned up good. I'll throw a mike on them monday to see what the bore is. Now all i need for the bike is a tranny and the insides of a shovelhead motor.
